My holistic approach has evolved from my experience as a Physiotherapist, Musculoskeletal therapist, Hatha yoga and Reiki practitioner. This means that during my treatments, I combine Western medical evidence-based techniques and Eastern traditional healing and energetic techniques to restore movement dysfunctions and pain. As well to create insight into the deeper and mental emotional state of your being. Focusing on attention, awareness, relaxation, movement, mobility and (inner)strength.

My treatment will help you create balance in- and between your physical body and mind. Through a combination of various therapeutic techniques, I invite you to open up, reconnect and become aware of your physical and mental body. This creates space within yourself where both conscious and unconscious tension will be released, activating your natural ability for (self)healing.

How does the first session unfold? We begin with an intake conversation, followed by a physical examination. We use this information to make a diagnosis and create a personal treatment plan. From there we start the therapy where I will apply both manual and energetic treatment methods and massage techniques based on your needs.

The duration of the overall treatment depends on your complaints and specific need of help. We will follow up to discuss the suitable techniques and the number of sessions, including the appropriate session duration for the treatment plan. 

In addition to the treatment, various exercises can be added. These exercises are aimed at improving mobility, flexibility, strength and pain reduction. Additionally, techniques for body awareness, relaxation, hatha yoga, yoga nidra, meditation, and breathing exercises can also be included.
